We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. THE JOB:

Conduct surveys of buildings to assess and repair mechanical systems in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Identify and mitigate maintenance risks on equipment.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.

Clean, adjust, and repair systems, including performing warranty services.

Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency repair requests.

Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to junior staff.

Maintain daily logs and records of all maintenance activities.

Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.

Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service.

THE INCUMBENT:

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 1+ years of experience as an HVAC technician; commitment to ongoing education in the field is a plus.
• Strong understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles.
• Knowledge of boiler systems and their operations.
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in accordance with HVAC protocols.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read schematics and work plans accurately.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including after hours, weekends, and holidays with short notice.
• Capability to work in confined spaces as required.
