Job Description

Equipment Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, tools, and equipment used in the workplace. This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and complies with safety standards. The Equipment Technician will work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute machine installations according to the planned schedule.
  • Ensure seamless production operations by optimizing yield, equipment utilization, and product quality through effective machine maintenance and upkeep.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve equipment malfunctions by determining root causes and implementing efficient solutions.
  • Track equipment performance and take proactive measures to address deviations from targets.
  • Comply with safety standards and protocols while conducting maintenance and repair activities, fostering a safe work environment for all team members.
  • Communicate machine status updates effectively between outgoing and incoming shifts.
Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronic Engineering.

PREFERRED
  • Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting equipment and machine
  • Effective coordination and communication skill.
  • Intermediate knowledge in electrical wiring, PLC system, control system, pneumatics system, actuators, sensors, and their working principals.
