Job summary

A manufacturing company is looking for a Technician to manage the maintenance and repair of electrical facilities, machines, and production equipment. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant engineering qualification and have at least one year of experience in the field. Key responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and improving production efficiency. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of English and Bahasa Malaysia is needed for this role located in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess relevant engineering qualification.
• At least 1 year experience in a related field preferred.
• Experience in machinery configuring or troubleshooting required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on systems.
• Update and report facility related issues.
• Attend to breakdown and troubleshooting inquiries.
• Assist in reducing downtime to meet production targets.
• Support audit exercises and NC closing.
• Liaise with vendors during equipment breakdown or upgrades.
• Suggest improvements in the production line.

Job Title: Technician

Department: Warehouse & Production

Location: Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

Job Description

• Responsible for repair & maintenance of all electrical facilities, power supply, production machinery & equipment, air handling unit (AHU), safety systems (fire) protection equipment & security equipment, building & facilities maintenance.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on facilities, machineries and equipment.
• Update, record & report any machinery, equipment and facility related issues. Oversee works done by contractor/vender related to facility & machinery.
• Attend to breakdown and troubleshooting.
• Assist production in reducing down time to achieve daily target output.
• Support factory’s pre-audit exercise and assist NC’s closing for audit.
• Assist OSH team to reduce or eliminate injuries caused by machine or equipment or environment.
• Liaise with vendor on machine or equipment breakdown and upgrading exercise.
• Suggest and support improvement in production line.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Certificates/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering Mechanical/Electric & Electronic or equivalent.
• Industrial Background Preferred: At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office.
• Required language(s): Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience & knowledge in machinery configuring / troubleshooting.
• Candidate to be based in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan office.
