Role Description

  • Monitor, maintain, and qualify equipment, tools, and fixtures for production use.
  • Perform periodic verification and calibration of equipment, tools, and fixtures.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production process and improve yield.
  • Seek a detail-oriented candidate with proven experience in epoxy bonding processes to manage and execute high-precision assembly tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with optical alignment machines is a significant advantage, as it enhances the candidate’s ability to achieve precise and accurate equipment setups.
  • Possess strong observational skills to identify discrepancies, understand manufacturing processes in detail, and troubleshoot effectively, involving senior staff members when necessary.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills to interact and collaborate effectively with peers, fostering teamwork.
  • Exhibit emotional intelligence in handling daily work interactions.
  • Drive continual improvement and effective utilization of resources.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering, preferably majoring in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in MNC industries; preferably 8 years of experience in a high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment (an added advantage).
  • Willing to work 12-hour shifts; able to work independently and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Good computer literacy with knowledge of SPC and OPAC systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and a hands-on working attitude.
  • Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes in the company’s business needs.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing analysis, and familiarity with poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
