Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of mining machinery and equipment, including but not limited to crushers, conveyors, pumps, and heavy mining vehicles.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures in a timely manner.
• Monitor equipment efficiency, propose improvements, and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Support procurement, installation, and commissioning of new machines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards in all mechanical operations.
• Collaborate with mining, electrical, and safety teams to support smooth production.
• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff and operators.
