Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our products, systems, and internal processes. This role works closely with engineering, software, quality, and operations teams to translate complex technical information into structured documents that support customers, auditors, and internal users.
Key Responsibilities
1. Documentation Development
- Create, update, and maintain technical documents such as user manuals, SOPs, work instructions, engineering specs, release notes, and training guides.
- Translate complex technical concepts into simple, accurate, and concise content.
2. Collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Work closely with engineers, developers, QA, operations, and product teams to gather information.
- Conduct interviews, attend technical meetings, and observe processes to ensure accuracy.
3. Content Standardization & Quality
- Ensure all documents follow company style guides, templates, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain version control and proper documentation approval workflow.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Review existing documents to improve readability, accuracy, and usability.
- Suggest enhancements to documentation processes and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong command of English with excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Markdown, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, Visio).
- Familiarity with engineering or software development environments is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience writing for manufacturing, automation, medical devices, or high-tech industries.
