Job description

The Technical Writer will be responsible for writing and maintaining technical documentations for FCS1 and its related. This role doesn’t require any programming skill or cloud knowledge. However, it does require the understanding of how system works. Candidate with good logical mindset is preferrable. You will require to run interview with developers, product teams, operation teams to understand the system workflow, infrastructure, how things get connected together, and so on. You can perform a voice recording, taking your own notes, later on you will need to convert it into proper and agreed format.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain technical documents: To create list of technical documents requires by the company, e.g. data dictionary, high-level system design, low-level system design, SOP, etc. And also ensure these documents are always up-to-date.
  • Interview & Collect: You will require to run interviews with different personnels, e.g. DEV, OPS, Product, to collect data and further understand the system workflow, concepts, etc. In order to put this info into proper document with agreed format.
  • Process Government: Work closely with our process governance advisor to ensure those requires documents are in place and updated.
  • Legal: Work closely with our legal advisor to ensure those requires documents are compliance with the laws and legal requirements and no private/confidential information is reveal without approval.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical document writing.
  • Experience working with end-user needs. Knowing what user wants, and also know-how to sort/organize/parse the information into proper documentation.
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with screenshot capturing and image editing tools, Microsoft Visio, Word, and other Microsoft Office Products
