A leading automation technology firm in Malaysia seeks a Technical Support Specialist to provide pre- and post-sales support. Responsibilities include assisting with product selection, technical presentations, and resolving customer inquiries. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in a related field and has at least 5 years of experience in the automation industry. Strong communication skills in English are essential for this role. Frequent travel within the Singapore region is required for customer engagements.
Technical support works, pre- and after-sales service works for Internal and external customers.
Support for product selection, prepare proposal for technical integration and/or product applications.
Summarize and prepare technical case.
Supporting for Service Desk Tickets to resolve customer enquiries via email and calls
Technical support at customer site, including but not limited to technical meeting, introduction of products and proposal, product presentations etc.,
Assist and actively participate the activities such as live webinar sessions for product presentations and introduction, technical interactions, exhibitions, seminars, webinars, proposal presentations etc.,
Keen interest to make technical support via Face to Face interactions with customers for Pre and post sales activities prioritized by sales department.
Ability and keen interest to travel frequently to customers Locally and outstation for customers meetings and various technical interactions to support sales team member.
