Technical Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of project in terms of resources, budget and timelines.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Define project tasks and develop full scale project plans.
- Provide direction, support and motivation to project team.
- Ensure consistent quality assurance of the project.
- Technically sound, capable to articulate and explain to customer for challenges or issues that are facing during the project.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and ensuring project complete within planned timeline.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions in a regular manner to customer.
- Proactive manage changes in project scope.
- Project evaluations and assessment of results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in (Computer/Telecommunications), Electronics, Electrical or equivalent.
- With PMP Certified will have added advantage.
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
- Proficient in project management software
- Minimum 3 to 4 Years of experience in project management
- proven experience in strategic planning
- proven experience in risk management
- proven experience in change management
- Experience in managing telco related projects.
- Possess PS/CS core network domain knowledge (eg. Gn, S1U, S1MME, IuPS, SCCP, SS7/Sigtran) or RAN domain knowledge (eg. EUTRAN, UTRAN).
- Experience in managing probe projects will have added advantage.
- knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- MS-Project and MS-Office knowledge.
