JOBRESPONSIBILITIES
M&E Operations & Maintenance
  • Oversee, plan and coordinate daily M&E operations including HVAC, mechanical equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection and building services.
  • Review and supervise M&E technicians’ daily tasks, ensuring proper execution and compliance with procedures.
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules and OEM requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve complex M&E technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor performance of critical systems (e.g. chillers, pumps, AHUs, LV systems, gensets, UPS, fire protection).
Planning, Scheduling & Documentation
  • Develop maintenance schedules, SOPs and work methods for M&E services.
  • Prepare technical reports, drawings and documentation; update asset registers.
  • Maintain up-to-date maintenance records, inspection reports and technical documentation.
  • Prepare analytical reports on system performance, breakdown trends, cost savings and improvement proposals.
Project & Contractor Coordination
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repair works, servicing and project implementation.
  • Review technical proposals, design drawings, BOQs, testing & commissioning documents.
  • Ensure contractors’ work complies with standards, safety requirements and site specifications.
Compliance, Safety & Quality
  • Ensure all M&E systems comply with regulatory requirements, building codes and statutory inspections.
  • Support energy management, system optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Enforce safety procedures, risk assessments and emergency response protocols during M&E activities.
  • Coordinate testing & commissioning, statutory inspections and certifications (lift, BMU, fire, ST).
Budgeting & Resource Management
  • Provide inputs for budgeting related to M&E operations including tools, spare parts and CAPEX.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs to meet operational budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and system efficiency improvements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

BEM registration preferred.

Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Chargeman, Wireman) are an advantage.

Minimum 7 years experience in M&E building operations, maintenance, or facilities management.

Strong hands‑on experience in HVAC, electrical systems, building services, and technical project coordination.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills.

Solid knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems (HVAC, fire protection, electrical, energy management).

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Safety compliance and risk assessment skills.

High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
