Technical Consultant/Support (Dynamic 365 FO)

• Provide high-level technical support and consulting for D365 Finance & Operations, with a focus on Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, Project Management, Sales/Purchase Orders).
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and test customizations, enhancements, and integrations using X++, Power Platform, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on D365 F&O capabilities and best practices.
• Own and manage Application Change Requests, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Support users across multiple global entities, providing guidance and training where needed.
• Maintain clear documentation of support tickets, development work, and system changes.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support UAT for all changes and enhancements.
• Assist with audit processes by providing system data and technical documentation.
• Create and maintain user manuals, technical guides, and training materials.
• Liaise with internal and offshore IT teams to coordinate development and support efforts.
• Stay current with D365 platform updates and contribute to upgrade and release planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&O in a technical role.
• Proficiency in X++ development, including experience with extensions, event handlers, and data entities.
• Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, data model, and integration frameworks (e.g., Data Management Framework, OData).
• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for source control and project management.
• Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-500) are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
