Job Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals, processes, and needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact with end users to understand their needs, collect and clarify requirements.
- Translate high-level business objectives into actionable technical specifications.
- Define and present business/technical process work flow using various diagrams such as flow charts and sequence diagrams to clients and technical team.
- Identify any gaps or inconsistencies in requirements and address them by working with relevant stakeholders to prevent misunderstandings and ensure that everyone is on the same page.
Project Planning & Monitoring
- Define project scope, project deliverables/milestone and timeline.
- Oversee project activities, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to deadlines.
Solution Design
- Collaborate with development teams to design solutions that align with business needs.
- Ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with the organization's technological capabilities. Which includes making decisions about UI/UX, data flow, and integration points.
Testing & Validation
- Collaborate with the development team to verify the software is functioning according to specifications.
- Coordinate and Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with clients.
- Track, document, and verify bugs or issues and ensure they are resolved before final delivery.
Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, use cases, and test plans.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer science or related field.
- At least 2 years experience in Business Analyst
- Experience with software development, software testing and issue tracking.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge with various programming concepts or technologies such as REST API, Microservices Architecture, Git Flow, MySQL Database, Cloud Infrastructures (AWS/GCP).
- Fluent in English.
- Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients, stakeholders, or project teams.
- Full time position. 9AM to 6PM (Monday to Friday)
