Job summary

Swift Software is seeking a Financial Services Industry Consultant to implement, deploy and advise on Swift’s secure messaging solutions. You will guide clients through technical and business changes, aiming to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate risks in dynamic environments.

You will own projects, engage with customers, and collaborate with internal teams such as Product and Professional Services, developing deep domain expertise in Swift platforms and financial messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT or related field.
• 3–6 years in technical implementation or support, preferably in banking/payments.
• Fluent in English; additional Asia-Pacific language a plus.
• Experience with Swift Messaging or related platform services.
• Able to work independently and in diverse, multi-country teams.

Responsibilities

• Expose to Swift’s technical solutions and deliver consulting to customers.
• Deliver technical training on Swift products to clients.
• Manage projects and ensure customer satisfaction; handle risks, budgets, and timelines.
• Assist customers in onboarding and resolving issues within project scope.

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a passionate Technical Advisory Consultant that eager to help financial industry player to implement, deploy and provide advisory in a highly dynamic and secure environment. Swift offers a dynamic range of business, technical, and infrastructure consultancy services tailored to the needs of our diverse customer base.

As a Financial Services Industry Consultant, you will navigate complex business and technical environments, provide crucial support and deliver top-notch technical consulting services. In this role, you will help our clients adapt to product and context changes, enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Get exposed to Swift’s technical solutions and increasingly deliver and implement such solutions and related consulting to our customers
• Deliver technical and operational training on Swift’s products and solutions to our customers
• Increasingly partakes in projects of varying complexities, ensuring effectiveness in meeting customer's needs, and delivering the project's expected outcomes while maintaining effective communication and managing expectations in order to guarantee customer satisfaction
• Manage project risks (security, resources, budget, quality) and escalating issues to management when appropriate
• Assist the customer in their technical readiness or solution onboarding (Such as SwiftAPI onboarindg and etc), solving potential issues they face during projects when those fall within one’s area of expertise and within the scope of the project, thereby ensuring the success of the customer engagement
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience
• Update knowledge management databases and document problem management procedures for both existing and new products/services as required

What will make you successful

• Professional background/education: bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or IT related fields, or equivalent experience
• 3-6 years relevant experience within the area of technical and system implementation or support and operations preferably in banking and payments businesses
• Languages: Fluent in English and any other language spoken across Asia Pacific is a plus
• Interest or prior exposure to Swift Messaging in any business line, Swift's interface products, or other Swift platform services
• Proven ability to contribute in a diverse, multi-cultural, multi-country team environment and the ability to work independently
• Ability to contribute within a team environment and deliver under some temporary level of pressure
• High attention to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Technical skillsets on operating systems, servers, and networking -e.g. Windows Server, AIX or Linux
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking technologies including routers, VPN, firewalls, etc.
• Knowledge of Perl, Java, XML, Bash, JIRA is a bonus
• Experience with integration middleware and common messaging technologies
• Knowledge in modern integration techniques and technologies, especially Service Oriented Architectures, application server and Web services
• Occasional travel may be required (Occasional weekends and after business hours work can be expected on a need-to basis to support customer go-live activities)
