Job Responsibilities
  • Grow the Bancatakaful business and fee-based income for AFFIN bank.
  • Drive personal Advisory Takaful production and formulate action plans to achieve team’s production targets.
  • Provide training and briefings on products, identify training needs for staff, and perform other service functions (e.g., joint sales visits, enhance team members’ knowledge and coaching).
  • Ensure the team maintains high standards of customer service in line with AFFIN and STMKB standards.
  • Participate and coordinate in the bank’s sales and promotion activities.
  • Ensure sales team’s services to customers comply with internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Track performance and productivity of sales staff.
  • Recruit sales staff according to the approved headcount.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Certified with Takaful Basic Examination (TBE) for Family Takaful.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the banking industry or a minimum of 3 years in Bancassurance/Bancatakaful business.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Open to Malaysian citizens only.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to changes in the working environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and scope under work pressure.
  • Computer literacy at a user level.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Sales-driven with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and management skills.
  • Strong marketing skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
