JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Be part of a high-performing investment team that supports the identification of new opportunities and strategic collaborations.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of investment prospects through detailed research and financial analysis.
  • Monitor and interpret sector trends to generate insights that inform and strengthen investment theses.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a broad network of stakeholders to gather market intelligence and support deal sourcing activities.
  • Support the development and review of financial models, reports, and presentation materials to facilitate sound investment decisions.
  • Participate in due diligence exercises - including financial, commercial, and operational assessments - on potential investments.
  • Assist in the execution of transactions through various structures, including direct investments, consortium participation, and separate managed accounts (SMAs).
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to support smooth and timely completion of investment processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Malaysian citizen
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by the Malaysia Government
  • Possess a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Accounting, Business Management, Banking, Finance/Investment or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institutions would be an added advantage
  • Possess at least 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in areas such as investment analysis, corporate finance, management consulting, or transaction advisory, with demonstrated exposure to deal execution or strategic investment activities
  • Highly disciplined, prioritizes work, mature and able to achieve the desired performance
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Teamwork and good time management
  • Analytical thinking and research ability
  • Proficient in computing tools
