Responsibilities

Prepare Yearly Program Plan (Scheme of Work) and create interesting, innovative, motivating and differentiated Daily Lesson Plans.

Prepare class teaching and learning materials, deliver classroom instructions and lessons competently, ensuring alignment with Cambridge curriculum standards.

Prepare, conduct and supervise activities, assignments, quizzes, formative and summative assessments.

Evaluate student performance, mark and record students’ assignments, projects and assessment scripts.

Collaborate with the Principal, Deputy Principals, Curriculum Leaders and other teachers in the preparation and development of courses of study, teaching materials, teaching programmes, pedagogy methodologies, assessments and pastoral care arrangements.

Participate in relevant training courses as well as in the weekly Professional Learning Community (PLC) opportunities and taking part in action research exercises.

Maintain discipline and order among the students while always ensuring their safety and well-being.

Conduct relief classes when necessary.

Requirements

Applicant must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching or relevant to the subject.

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in an accredited international school.

Applicant must be able to teach the subject applied and should have a thorough knowledge of the Cambridge Primary/ Secondary Education Programme.

Highly proficient in the English language.
