Join our vibrant team at Caraterapi Kid's Rehab Centre a subsidiary of Dengar Audiologi Enterprise as a Teacher Assistant in Teluk Intan Perak. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our early special needs kids rehabilitation program and contributing to the growth and development of our special needs kids.

What you'll be doing

Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing engaging and age-appropriate therapy plans

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them with academic, social, and emotional development

Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive therapy environment

Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and facilitate interactive activities and play-based learning opportunities

Observe and document student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher

Assist with classroom management tasks, such as maintaining supplies and preparing materials

Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities

What we're looking for

A passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in supporting the development of special needs children

Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field

Experience working in an early childhood setting, preferably in a teaching assistant or similar role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and the teaching team

Patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach to working with special needs kids

Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
