Job summary

EY Malaysia invites a Senior Technical Lead to drive the Tax Technology Solution Team, shaping the digital roadmap and leading cross-functional groups to modernise data platforms and tax solutions.

You will guide architecture, leverage .NET Core, React/TypeScript, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), and foster DevSecOps practices to deliver enterprise-scale transformations and impactful client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on .NET Core / .NET 8+.
• 3+ years of experience in solution architecture and leading technical teams.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications and cloud-native solutions.
• Experience in leading enterprise digital transformation or platform modernization projects.
• Familiarity with finance and/or tax systems and ERPs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with data integration, API design, and cloud-native architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of enterprise-grade digital solutions using modern frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Define architecture standards, solution blueprints, and technical roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and maintainable solution designs.

• Act as a key technical advisor, supporting digital strategy for our tax business and transformation journey for our business and our clients.
• Contribute to talent development and technical capability.

The Opportunity

As a Technical Lead within EY’s Tax Technology Solution Team, you will play a strategic role in driving the overall digital roadmap of our tax software solutions. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, define technical architecture, and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to help clients (both internal and external) in modernising data platforms, build new tax solutions for the practice, accelerate innovation, and enable end-to-end digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design of enterprise-grade digital solutions using modern frameworks and cloud platforms

To Qualify, You Must Have
