Job summary

AirAsia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a motivated student for a Tax Support role. You will assist in preparing tax computations for corporate tax, SST, VAT, and other returns while organizing tax workpapers and filing records.

The role requires active enrollment in a relevant degree and strong Excel, analytical, and English language skills. Opportunities to gain exposure to regulatory updates and e-invoicing processes are available.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or equivalent professional programs.
• Strong Excel skills, high attention to detail and good analytical abilities.
• Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and collation of supporting documents for tax computations including corporate tax, SST, VAT, withholding tax, and tourism tax returns.
• Assemble and manage tax workpapers, financial statements, and electronic filing records.
• Assist to perform research on regulatory updates, withholding/indirect tax items, or transfer pricing documentation.
• Assist in updating master data and submission of e-invoice to the regulatory body.
