Job summary

Tax Advisory and Management Services is seeking a competent Tax Analyst to join our Petaling team. The role involves preparing and reviewing corporate and individual tax computations and returns, and assisting with planning and advisory matters.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 1–3 years of tax or accounting experience, and strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations. Proficiency with MS Office and tax software is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience in taxation or accounting.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant accounting or tax software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate and individual tax computations and tax returns.
• Handle tax compliance matters, including the preparation and submission of relevant tax documents.
• Assist clients with tax planning and advisory matters.
• Liaise with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and other relevant authorities when required.
• Handle tax audits, investigations and enquiries.
• Keep up to date with changes in tax laws, regulations and requirements.
• Prepare supporting documents and maintain proper tax records and documentation.
• Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely completion of tax-related matters.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
