Job summary

Forvis Mazars in Malaysia is seeking a Tax Associate to perform tax computations and prepare tax returns for individuals and corporate clients. You will liaise with tax authorities and support seniors in engagements and related tasks.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and candidates must be resident in Malaysia or have the right to work in Malaysia. The role offers opportunities for exposure through secondment at client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA) required.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willing to undergo secondment at a client’s office.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

As a Tax Associate, you will perform tax computation, filling of tax returns for both individuals and corporate clients. You will be frequently liaising with the tax authorities on tax matter. Tax Associate Requirements

• Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA or equivalent
• Competent written and spoken English language communication
• Possess analytical, critical thinking and report-writing skills
• High literacy in office application (Microsoft Word, Excel and etc)
• Willing to be involved in secondment assignment based at a client’s office
• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply
