We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Associate to join our tax team. In this role, you will assist in preparing and reviewing tax computations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing quality tax advisory services to our clients.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of tax computations and returns for individuals, companies and other entities.
  • Review supporting documents and ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
  • Conduct basic tax research and keep up to date with the latest tax developments.
  • Liase with clients and relevant authorities to resolve tax matters.
  • Support senior team members in handling tax audits and investigations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing for all tax-related matters.
  • Perform other related tasks as required by the tax manager or supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Malaysia tax laws and regulations (or willingness to learn).
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
