YO AI Labs is seeking Tamil bilingual experts for a remote contractor role to evaluate Tamil audio content, assess linguistic quality, and provide detailed feedback based on established guidelines.

No prior AI experience is required; strong Tamil language expertise and English communication skills are essential to document evaluations clearly and ensure high-quality language data for AI models.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Tamil
• B2+ proficiency in English for written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle linguistic differences
• Excellent written communication skills
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to clearly explain linguistic observations and evaluation decisions
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and apply evaluation criteria consistently
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Listen to Tamil audio clips and evaluate nativeness, fluency, and overall linguistic quality.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, rhythm, and linguistic authenticity.
• Identify unnatural phrasing, pronunciation issues, and subtle language differences.
• Document evaluations in clear, concise English.
• Provide explanations and justifications for evaluation decisions.
• Follow established guidelines, rubrics, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements.
• Provide linguistic insights to improve Tamil-language models.
• Complete assigned audio review tasks accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
