Job description

You are responsible for the end-to-end intern experience for interns joining Grab’s in Malaysia; from confirming hiring targets, sourcing candidates, managing the application and selection process, onboarding selected candidates and engaging them throughout their stint at Grab.

You drive intern conversions to full-time hires, by ensuring a strong performance management process during interns’ time with us and matching outstanding candidates with full-time opportunities available to them upon their graduation.

You act as a thought partner to our Leaders, co‑creating hiring strategies and providing hiring managers with support and guidance to maximise recruiting productivity by hiring the best candidates with the right cultural fit and skillsets.

You innovate and kaizen processes and work with your manager to identify and implement tech solutions as multipliers of the team’s effectiveness and return on effort.

You drive high levels of intern engagement & development, collaborating with other Popsters within the Early Careers Team and Grabbers across the company to roll out events and programs which give interns the full One Grab experience.

You are a champion of Grab’s employer brand and the face of Grab to candidates at career fairs and recruiting events, as well as a trusted partner to Career Services partners at our target institutions.

  • You have 2-4 years of experience with volume hiring and have the ability to evolve processes to manage risk and improve efficiency.
  • You have a genuine curiosity about Technology and want to bring your recruiting skills to bear, to drive impactful actions which support your stakeholders’ needs.
  • You have a healthy balance of skepticism and enthusiasm, with an ability to consider different ways to achieve your objectives, a willingness to challenge the status quo, and the resilience to drive change.
  • You are able to balance multiple priorities and workstreams, pulling others in to collaborate and delegating effectively
  • You communicate effectively and clearly and can adjust your communication style to suit different groups of stakeholders.
The Nice-to-Haves
  • You have established relationships with tertiary institutions and other sources of early careers talent, e.g. training providers, bootcamp organisers
  • You are familiar with how to use social media to drive awareness of employer branding, specifically with less well‑reached demographics, e.g. Women in Tech, etc.
