Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Ipoh is seeking a Staffing Specialist with at least 7 years in Human Resources and a strong focus on recruitment strategies. The ideal candidate will manage candidate pipelines, develop hiring strategies, and prepare staffing reports. Excellent communication skills and a bachelor's degree in HR are essential. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in Human Resources, 3 years in Staffing for large manufacturing companies.
  • Prior experience in building a recruiting infrastructure is an advantage.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with management team to improve and implement results-driven recruiting and staffing strategies for domestic and international hiring.
  • Design, review and execute strategies for hiring required talents in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipeline through creative sourcing and recruiting methods, including internet resources, advertising campaigns, career fairs, networking and other proactive sourcing approaches.
  • Continuously benchmark the company with the best practices in the industry in terms of sourcing. Acquire and track market information on availability of talents.
  • Make recommendations on compensation packages, extend job offer and prepare offer letter.
  • Manage employee referral and relocation programs.
  • Prepare various staffing reports for management on regular basis.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Social Sciences, Business Administration or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum of 7 years of working experience in Human Resources, with the last 3 years (at least) in Staffing role for a large manufacturing company.
  • Prior experience in building a recruiting infrastructure would be an advantage.
Skills
  • Solid understanding of the full life cycle of Staffing Process and demonstrated success in recruiting and hiring IDLs including management positions.
  • Good knowledge of local labor legislations and local labor practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to interact with diverse personalities.
