Job summary

A technology company in Penang is seeking a Talent Acquisition & Admin Executive. The role involves managing recruitment processes, maintaining candidate databases, and supporting onboarding. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in HR practices. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Fully Involved in end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates and hiring executives (coordinating interview process on site and off site).
  • Maintain and update candidate databases, attendances and recruitment trackers (to collect and maintain employee data both electronic and physical).
  • Support employer branding initiatives and job fair participation.
  • Prepare onboarding documents and coordinate new hire orientation.
  • Communicate with recruitment agencies and job portals when needed.
  • Assist in developing and updating job descriptions and specifications.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR and management teams.
  • Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave management systems.
  • Support in organizing company events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
  • Assist in office supplies, correspondence, and vendor coordination.
  • Support payroll preparation and other HR-related documentation when required.
  • To assist superiors to carry out the daily job activities related to administrative and partially HR matters.
  • Assist superior in updating payroll data (Technician Position) Ex: Key in roster into Payroll2U system/ Checking Attendance data timely preparation.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports, presentations, and other documents for the executives as required.
  • Support the department in other ad-hoc tasks or projects.
Requirements
  • SPM/STPM/Diploma/Degree in HR/Management/Business Administration or any other related.
  • Strong knowledge Hiring/Briefing/Orientation from beginning to end.
  • Possess with good and effective communication skills with all levels.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal skills will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3-5 year of experience in similar capacity as a TALENT ACQUISITION & ADMIN EXECUTIVE is a must and being from a semiconductor background will be an added advantage but not a necessity.
