Job description
Overview

The incumbent is responsible for implementing training solutions that are aligned with departmental learning objectives. His/her responsibility is to develop and conduct sales performance training programs to drive sales effectiveness and high performance of the distribution channels in Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad, manage the training quality of TMDC, periodical monitoring of the performance to ensure achievement of business plan and ensure the sales effectiveness through training programs.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop effective, result-driven content to support the learning and development needs of agency members.
  • Cultivate the capacity of takaful planners to carry out sales activities effectively and efficiently.
  • Coach and motivate the takaful planners in developing the skills needed to perform their responsibilities.
  • Develop high performance takaful planners and assess continuously the training needs through structured training activity.
  • Monitor implementation of training programs to ensure effective execution.
  • Monitor and measure post-training to ensure delivery of the desired post-training benefits, identify performance gaps and follow-up with appropriate remedial actions to close the identified gaps.
  • Research, benchmark and propose content to meet current and future business needs of a sales-driven culture and work environment.
  • Ensure the agency force complies and fulfils all training requirements.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university specializing in Business Administration, Insurance, Education & related disciplines.
  • Have at least 2-3 years of working experience in takaful and/or retail financial services business in the areas of Training, Sales & Marketing.
  • Knowledge and qualification in Shariah Financial Planning is an added advantage.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate about people development.
  • Has a sense of urgency and works independently.
