Job description

As a System Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing complex software systems that drive the growth and success of SEG International Bhd. This full-time position is based in Kota Damansara, Selangor, and offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative and dynamic team.

What you'll be doing:

Design, develop, test, and deploy mobile applications (Android/iOS or cross-platform).

Build and maintain the backend systems, APIs, and databases supporting the apps.

Develop new systems or customize existing ones, leveraging frameworks or platforms to accelerate delivery.

Work with internal teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture and development plans.

Integrations:

• CRM, ERP, or HR systems
• Loyalty, points, or rewards systems
• Fulfilment, logistics, or inventory platforms
• Hospital, clinic, or appointment systems

Ensure smooth data flow and synchronization between frontend and backend systems.

Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.

Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation across both app and backend layers.

Manage version control, deployment, and updates (e.g., Git, app stores, servers).

Provide post-launch maintenance and ongoing system improvements.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in mobile and backend development, including end-to-end system delivery.

Proficient in Flutter, React Native, or native Android/iOS development.

Strong knowledge of backend frameworks such as Node.js, Laravel, Firebase, or similar.

Comfortable working with or extending existing platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Drupal, WordPress, custom CMS).

Experience with RESTful APIs, integration with SaaS, and data synchronization.

Familiar with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Firebase, etc.).

Experience with cloud services and hosting (AWS, Firebase, etc.).

Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Ability to work independently and manage full project delivery.
