Job summary

GAMUDA Malaysia is seeking a Sustainability Manager to develop, implement, and manage the organization's sustainability strategies and programs. This role sets goals, conducts assessments, reduces environmental footprint, engages with stakeholders, and reports on sustainability performance across departments.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field, with preferred certifications (e.g., LEED AP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Certifications in sustainability (e.g., LEED AP, Certified Sustainability Professional) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives and values.
• Conduct sustainability assessments to identify environmental, social, and economic impacts and opportunities.
• Develop and implement initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental footprint (energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction).
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability awareness and collaboration.
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance using KPIs and metrics.

Expected Minimum Years of Experience
