Lam Research seeks a Sustainability Engineer to lead regional renewable energy initiatives and sustainable facilities programs across APAC. You will drive onsite solar deployment, assess energy projects, and align construction with sustainability goals, reporting to the ESG and GWS teams.
The role requires 8–12 years in facilities or sustainability engineering, with knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and energy management. Travel up to 25% and collaboration across regional sites are expected.

We are seeking a Sustainability Engineer to support the development and execution of our Asia-Pacific (APAC) renewable energy and sustainable facilities strategy. This role will focus on advancing long‑term renewable electricity goals, supporting onsite solar deployment, aligning new construction projects with our sustainability and net zero goals, and driving sustainability integration across facilities operations.
The ideal candidate combines technical facilities engineering expertise, project execution capability, and sustainability acumen, with experience working across diverse regulatory and infrastructure environments in Asia.
This role will partner closely with ESG, Global Workplace Services (GWS), EHS, and regional site teams to translate corporate climate goals into practical, site‑level implementation.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on‑site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On‑site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On‑site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1‑2 days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
