What You’ll Do
- Ensure on-time supply to meet customers requested delivery dates at 99 % overall service level
- Establish the demand-supply management framework that caters customers’ need with operational capabilities and continuously evaluate its performance.
- Ensure long term (5 to 10 years), medium term(1 to 3 years) and short term (1 to 6 months) review of infrastructure capacity requirements for manufacturing plants, production lines, warehouses and key suppliers. Provides clear direction to senior leadership team on investments required to establish the right infrastructure to fulfill market demand in the medium and long term. Review of production sourcing matrix to define optimal fulfillment strategy between production plants and warehouse facilities to minimize supply chain costs.
- Ensures planning processes are in place that effectively delivers desired supply planning goals.
- Ensures effective & efficient planning tools (e.g. Blue Yonder, MPS, MRP, SNP, PPD, SP etc.) are in place to support the strategy with required IT infrastructure and right personnel skill competency in the tools.
- Based on IP study results to locate and size warehouse facilities, work together with Logistics department on translating IP into detailed IDS (inventory deployment strategy). Logistics is responsible to consider IP results to perform detailed IDS review on street level using routing tools (e.g. Ortec) to define optimal physical location and size of warehouse facilities
- Ensures appropriate organizational structure is in place which enables success of strategy. Includes definition of detailed job descriptions, right job grades, hierarchies, and clear and formal roles & responsibilities for each planner and manager position.
- Leads the synchronization processes for development of demand plans from ABP through RE to Operational weekly Forecast. Ensures alignment of all through S&OP processes.
- Ensure monthly capacity analysis for supply planning areas (e.g. production, deployment, inventory, and raw materials) in place, identifies capacity constraints and proposes alternatives to fulfill the demand. Lead S&OP process and ensure weekly reviews of supply planning KPI
- Ensures contingency planning procedures in place which are responsive and effective to handle SKU level issues of product availability. Leads the development and evaluation of capacity plan for high peak periods, providing direction and alternatives to fulfill market demand whenever it is identified any capacity constraint.
- Grows supply and demand planning skills within the organization both within and outside the Supply Planning department. Leads the implementation of BIG Planning certification Program. Provides formal coach and feedback for demand planners and supply manager, to ensure they are challenged & succeeding.
- Validates that all metrics are in place and being reported properly. Works with planners and managers to improve overall planning performance through the deployment of root cause analysis methodology using Planning PME methodology.
- Ensures understanding of infrastructure planning concept and models throughout the organization and continuously evaluates performance.
- Performs weekly PME performance review meetings with planning team to identify major issues on forecast accuracy, product availability, capacity levels, and inventory levels. Aligns clear and accountable action plan and track implementation progress during the meetings.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in business management or industrial engineering with Supply Chain/Logistics focus preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience and 2 years in supervisory level.
- Strong analytical and computer skills including Microsoft Office Tools, ERP.
- Distinct ability to work with and interpret numbers. Prior beverage experience strongly desired.
- Prior management & inter-departmental conflict resolution experience, factual decision-making skills, ability to work under pressure and consistently deliver expected results.
- Ability to travel.
