Supply Chain Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at WAKOMAS Chemical Sdn Bhd. This full-time position based in Ara Damansara, Selangor, will play a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations and ensuring the efficient import and export or local distribution of our products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the import and export processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant customs and trade regulations
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise the supply chain, including inventory management, logistics planning, and supplier relationships
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and enhance customer service
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of process improvements and new initiatives
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably in the manufacturing, distribution or trading, transport, or import/export industry
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and supply chain best practices. Experience with Incoterm 2020 will be an added advantage.
• Ability to manage the operational administrative aspect involved in execution of trade and logistics including Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, Proforma Invoices and Letters of Credit
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented.
• Proficient in the use of supply chain management software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
