Supply Chain Manager – Manufacturing & Industrial Solutions (Selangor)

A leading company in the manufacturing and industrial solutions sector is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, logistics, and warehouse management.

This role is based in Selangor and requires a dynamic leader with strong SAP system experience, excellent Mandarin and English communication skills, and a proven background in driving operational efficiency within manufacturing or related industries.

The successful candidate will lead cross‑functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and products, optimize processes, and strengthen supplier relationships to support both factory and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that integrate procurement, logistics, and warehouse management functions to achieve cost efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Lead warehouse operations, ensuring effective material handling, order fulfillment, and productivity improvements aligned with customer and production needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including performance monitoring, contract compliance, and cost optimization for warehouse space and logistics services.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including supplier negotiations, sourcing strategies, and policy improvements to enhance quality and cost competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal factory teams to secure project pricing and ensure timely material delivery in support of production schedules and customer projects.
  • Drive logistics planning and inventory forecasting to achieve on‑time delivery and cost targets.
  • Manage import/export logistics processes and ensure compliance with customs and government regulations (e.g., Kastam, MIDA, MITI).
  • Coach and develop team members, fostering a high‑performance culture and continuous process improvement mindset.
  • Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and company compliance standards.
  • Handle ad‑hoc projects or initiatives assigned by senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and forecasting.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, procurement processes, and inventory planning.
  • Familiarity with import/export logistics and coordination with government authorities such as Kastam, MIDA and MITI.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with a results‑driven mindset.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with regional stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to achieve business goals.
