Job description

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Candidates are expected to be familiar with both import and export.
• Candidate is required to handle all the shipment, both purchase and sales, from receiving of order by issuing proforma Invoice, Contract, export cargo arrangement, hauler, cargo insurance, export documentation, payment collection, handle customer complain and convey message accordingly and ensure customer satisfaction (end to end process) and also coordinate and follow up closely with vendors on supply plan.
• Responsible for coordinating freight forwarders on leading arrangements which include sourcing competitive freight solutions to move the cargo on time. Candidate must be familiar with free trade zone operation, shipping incoterm, shipping documentation such as invoices, packing list, B/L, Certificate of Origin and custom form verification.
• To liaise and response to customers on any enquiries pertaining to stock availability.
• Ensure accuracy in shipping documentation and on time shipment is priority and familiar and experience in preparation of shipping documents under LC term.
• Bachelor’s degree in Shipping / Logistics / Supply Chain or others equivalent or Diploma in related field with 5 – 8 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant working experience in import and export environment in trading.
