Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and reconcile import/export documents.
  • Monitor timely and legal transport of materials.
  • Enter and verify data in spreadsheets from multiple sources.
  • Support planning and tracking of shipment/delivery.
  • Ensure sufficient stock levels of inventory and goods.
  • Liaise and follow up with suppliers.
  • Assist in loading/unloading and sorting orders.
  • Complete paperwork and documentation.
  • Conduct clerical work such as typing and proofreading.

Skills

Communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)

Education

  • Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • Responsible, hardworking, trustworthy, able to work independently
  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and public holidays when deemed necessary
  • Has strong IT skills including confidence in the use of Microsoft Office such as Word and Excel
  • Has experience in a busy and diverse role, demonstrating strong organization skills, ability to plan and prioritize a complex workload, and meet deadlines
  • With knowledge in logistics procedure for export/import would be an added advantage
  • Able to start work immediately would be an added advantage
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the review, verification, reconciliation of import and export documents
  • Responsible for monitoring material transported and delivered for timeliness and legality
  • Responsible for entering data into spreadsheets from multiple sources, as well as verifying input and calculations
  • Provide support in the planning and tracking of the shipment/delivery of finished orders
  • Provide support in ensuring there’s always sufficient stock level of company’s inventory / goods / raw material
  • Liaise and follow up orders with suppliers
  • Assist in loading/unloading, sorting, and stocking orders
  • Provide support in completing paperwork and documentation
  • Carry out clerical work, including typing, proofreading, and editing documents, correspondence, and reports for the logistics department or assigned
