A leading power tools company in Malaysia seeks a professional in supply chain management. You will assist in managing orders, generating purchase orders, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Supply Chain Management and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This role involves coordinating shipments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring effective delivery schedules.
Assist in managing current orders and forecast future demand in order to provide adequate supplies.
Generate Purchase Orders, collaborate with other departments and stakeholders for order settlement, and check pricing before fulfilment of orders.
Prepare stock balance for respective teams.
Plan and maintain adequate inventory, scheduling and receiving shipments.
Coordinate with forwarders, transporter, shipping agents on shipment.
Identifies optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
Work closely with other departments to ensure customer delivery schedule is met.
Monitor inbound and outbound shipment and warehouse activities with 3PL - Works with 3PL to set up intercompany transfers.
Established performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
Plan for monthly replenishment of inventory
Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand.
Negotiates prices with forwarders, transporter, shipping agents.
Oversee and determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
Ensure inventories are delivered effectively in the best practice of freight in and freight consolidation.
Prepare and submit relevant reports upon request.
Perform other ad-hoc job assigned from time to time.
