Job summary

Designation: Supply Chain Executive

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Executive is responsible for supporting purchasing, logistics, and inventory management activities to ensure smooth and efficient movement of products from suppliers to customers. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, logistics partners, internal teams, and compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute supply chain functions to ensure smooth flow of products from suppliers to customers.
  • Review stock holding levels and propose stock replenishment using standard matrix forms.
  • Monitor distribution and logistics channels and coordinate closely with third-party service providers.
  • Liaise with suppliers, warehouse teams, and local forwarding agents on shipment arrangements and documentation.
  • Ensure accurate entry of shipment information into the SAP system based on suppliers’ invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
  • Review duty payments and/or SST requisitions to ensure compliance with Customs regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to product supply.
  • Maintain and document material return records to support investigation of quality-related issues.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and coordinate with Sales and Marketing for appropriate actions.
  • Conduct stock count cycles and prepare related reports.
  • Provide operational and logistics support across the department.
  • Ensure continuous implementation and compliance with ISO standards within the supply chain function.
  • Complete month-end closing activities within specified timelines.
  • Prepare and generate month-end and management reports, including but not limited to:
  • Annual purchase reports
  • Shipment forecast files
  • KPI reports
  • Implement and maintain best practices and standards in supply chain operations.
  • Support management with ad-hoc projects and assignments as required.
Authority
  • Liaise directly with overseas third-party suppliers for trading of finished products.
  • Issue Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Follow up on all operational and logistics-related matters.
EMS & OHSMS Responsibilities
  • Understand, implement, and uphold Legrand’s Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (EHS) policies and management systems.
  • Communicate and report environmental, health, and safety matters to the Superior / MR / EHS Officer.
  • Be aware of actions required during normal, abnormal, and emergency environmental, health, and safety situations.
  • Attend, participate in, and support EHS-related activities such as training programs, initiatives, and audits.
  • Understand environmental and occupational health & safety risks associated with assigned tasks and take responsibility to control and mitigate them.
  • Conserve natural resources through efficient use of water, energy, and paper.
  • Maintain good environmental, health, and safety practices, including proper housekeeping, in the work area.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company requirements.
  • Participate actively in the company’s QMS, EMS, and OHSMS activities as required.
