A global technology company in Penang seeks a Supply Chain Analyst responsible for procurement, inventory control, and supplier management. The successful candidate will create purchase orders, manage inventory levels, and review supplier performance to ensure efficiency in operations. Minimum qualifications include an engineering or business degree and three years of relevant experience. This role offers opportunities for continuous improvement and effective management of materials within the supply chain.
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Analyst are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
Implement purchase order, manage supply chain and optimize purchasing channel & methods with the objective of ensuring cost-effective, on-time delivery and good service to internal customer and external customer within the TE Penang purchasing policies and procedures
