Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Supplier Quality Technician to assist in updating and maintaining supplier controls for quality and compliance of incoming raw materials and services. The role provides guidance to inspectors on part inspection requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of related experience, and a basic understanding of materials, manufacturing technologies, and GD&T. Travel is less than 40%.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
• Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Minimum understanding of GD&T and part specification drawings reading.

Responsibilities

• Verify supplier-related quality issues against defined criteria and prepare paperwork to return material.
• Receive and review nonconforming material reports to ensure proper identification and packaging for integrity until disposition, and execute site containment actions for supplier quality issues.
• Support collection of supplier quality performance information to monitor supplier performance.
• Disposition and coordination of purge screening activities with supplier/3rd party.
• Support the Nonconforming Material disposition process.
