Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an energetic Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure externally sourced materials meet TI's quality standards. You will liaise with suppliers, drive continuous improvement, and support new product introductions in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum requirements include a technical bachelor's degree and up to 2 years in supplier quality, with semiconductor experience considered an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for a challenging, growth-oriented role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Materials, or related).
• Fresh graduates or up to 2 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Experience in Semiconductor Assembly & Test Manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, apply, revise, and maintain quality standards for incoming materials and components from external suppliers.
• Lead supplier qualification activities including audits, capability assessments, and approvals for suppliers.
• Review supplier quality data, inspection reports, and returns to identify trends and root causes.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design teams to assess supplier risk and quality improvements.
• Manage supplier quality incidents using structured problem-solving (8D, 3x5-Why) and corrective actions.
• Prepare documentation for incoming inspection procedures, acceptance criteria, control plans, and quality agreements.
• Support new product introduction by validating process capability with suppliers.
• Conduct on-site supplier audits and process reviews with actionable feedback.
