Job summary

Public Packages Group of Companies in Penang seeks a Quality Assurance professional to lead supplier quality management and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001. You will oversee incoming inspections, verify CoCs, SDS and test reports, and coordinate with Purchasing to address quality issues.

You will investigate non-conformances including NCRs and 8D-CARs, drive CAPA actions, and monitor supplier performance through audits and data analysis, delivering continuous improvement across the supply

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• At least one year of working experience in the packaging industry is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
• Proficient in quality management software, data analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure incoming inspections of raw materials and sub-materials per specifications.
• Verify CoCs, material specs, SDS and other documents from suppliers.
• Monitor supplier quality against ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Coordinate with suppliers to investigate quality issues.
• Present non-conformance issues to MRB for evaluation.
• Develop and implement QA procedures for consistent workflows.
• Read and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Conduct quality improvement training for supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation on supplier performance.
• Support internal and external audits and participate in ABM activities.
