Job summary

A leading construction company in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, is seeking a Safety Supervisor to promote and ensure workplace safety and health compliance. Responsibilities include training workers, maintaining safe work conditions, and reporting incidents. Candidates must have completed the Site Safety Supervisor examination and have at least 1 year of experience in the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Site Safety Supervisor examination.
• 1 year experience in construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement safety and health-related policies and procedures.
• Ensure safe working conditions on project sites.
• Conduct safety training for all workers.
• Report any accidents or dangerous occurrences.
• Compile data and produce reports on project site performance.

Skills

Valid competency registered with DOSH

Ability to work extra hours

Job description

Overview

Promote, monitor, supervise, advise and ensure continual safety and health implementation at workplace in compliance with legal, contractual and organizational requirements

Responsibilities

• Implement the safety and health related policies, procedures, instruction and rules and regulation
• Ensure that safe work condition is maintained throughout the entire project
• Train, monitor and closely supervise all the workers towards minimize safety and health risk/hazard during commencing activities at work site
• Conduct training such as pre-task briefing, tool box and safety awareness briefing to all workers
• Report any accident, incident or any dangerous occurrence involving personnel or plant & equipment to the SHE Manager
• Regulate and compile data and performance of project sites and produce statistics and reports

Qualifications

• Attended and passed Site Safety Supervisor examination

Skills & Abilities

• Preferably has valid competency and registered with DOSH (Yellow book holder)
• Able to work extra hours
• Basic computer skills. Microsoft office (Words, Excell and Powerpoint)

Experience

1 year of working experience. Preferably in construction industry
