SUPERVISOR FRESH FROZEN MEAT AND SEAFOOD
Position: Supervisor – Fresh, Meat, Seafood and Frozen
Department: Operation
Reporting Line: Branch Manager
1. Daily Operations & Product Quality
- Oversee all daily activities across the Fresh, Meat, Seafood, and Frozen sections.
- Ensure products are always fresh, properly labelled, and attractively displayed according to company standards.
- Monitor temperature, storage conditions, and stock rotation to maintain product quality and safety.
2. Inventory & Replenishment
- Check stock levels regularly to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with suppliers or the purchasing team to ensure timely and accurate replenishment.
- Assist in receiving goods and ensure correct quantity, quality, and documentation.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports on inventory, wastage, and sales.
3. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, equipment, and storage facilities.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues promptly.
- Train, guide, and supervise staff to perform their tasks efficiently and safely.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate manpower.
- Motivate the team to deliver excellent service and maintain discipline.
5. Customer Service
- Handle customer inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
- Provide product knowledge and assistance to enhance the customer experience.
- Monitor daily sales performance and contribute ideas to improve sales and reduce shrinkage.
- Support promotional activities and ensure price tags and signage are accurate and updated.
