Job summary

Private Advertiser in Ipoh is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee the Fresh & Perishables department, including pricing, display, sales and promotions, and manpower management. The role focuses on achieving profitability and inventory control in a busy branch.

Candidates should have at least SPM with retail exposure and strong product knowledge of relevant goods. Hypermarket or grocery store supervision experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM with retail experience and knowledge of relevant products.
• Experience in supervising or merchandising in hypermarkets, supermarkets, mini-markets or grocery shops is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist the branch in supervising overall operation of Fresh & Perishables department including pricing, display, sales and promotions, manpower, inventory and profit margins.
• Support achievement of objectives through effective team leadership and store-level execution.
