Job summary

Perodua in Malaysia is seeking a design research professional to coordinate research and benchmarking activities, identify trends, materials, and styling directions for automotive projects. Responsibilities

Coordinate design research and benchmarking activities to identify trends, materials, forms, and competitive styling directions.
Develop innovative styling proposals throughout project development, including concept ideation, sketches, and rendered visuals.
Prepare, process and analyze all styling related documentation to ensure design intent, feasibility, and consistency.
Deliver clear presentations—both verbal and written—to communicate design concepts and styling rationales to small group audiences.
Evaluate the quality and accuracy of research outputs, styling ideas, models, and data, and propose corrective actions or design countermeasures where required.
