Job description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team at PZK SDN. BHD. in Cheras Batu 9, Selangor. This full-time role will be responsible for providing structural engineering expertise to support the design and delivery of a range of civil and construction projects.What you'll be doing

• Liaison with client, co-consultants and authorities.
• Prepare engineering design, design calculation, technical report, condition of contract, specifications, technical schedule, Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates and review engineering drawing.
• Project management and program monitoring up to completion and handing over to client.
• Proposing and monitoring defect rectification during defect of liabilities (DLP).
• Prepare technical and commercial proposal for tender.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the management (whenever required).

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of post-graduation experience in structural engineering
• Experience in structural and civil engineering design involving mixed commercial development, high rise building and water retaining structures.
• Proficient in the use of structural design software and analysis tools (e.g. ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD)
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to provide practical, cost-effective solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM). Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate (PEPC) is an advantage.
