Job summary

RPG Commerce is seeking an ambitious intern to join our Strategy team and support growth initiatives across Southeast Asia. You will collaborate with business units, help formulate strategies, explore new verticals, and contribute to market research and financial analyses.

Reporting to the Strategy Lead, you will assist with feasibility studies, business cases, and fundraising support, gaining hands-on exposure to leadership and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Experience launching or founding member of a business or university club/society.
• Structured thinking with strong analytical ability; ability to drown the noise, spot opportunities and use facts/data to clearly communicate ideas.
• Leadership and project management experience leading a project from ideation to completion.
• Innovative, agile and capable of disrupting the status quo; leveraging technology or process improvements.
• Availability to start September/October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research and insights projects such as market research, competitor benchmarking, pricing strategy.
• Support strategy development and monitor strategic projects to deliver value to stakeholders.
• Involve in special projects across departments: building new verticals, M&A opportunities, operations optimization, offline expansion.
• Support fundraising initiatives and investor relations.
• Serve as a strategic partner to business unit leaders, developing business cases, financial models, and feasibility studies.

About The Job

You will be reporting to the Strategy Lead and will contribute to the development of growth and expansion initiatives for RPG. You should also have no problem in influencing the leadership team and cross functional teams to achieve alignment. The ideal candidate should be ready to roll up their sleeves & collaborate closely with team leads to take on a wide range of challenges, examples include strategy formulation, launching new business verticals, operational implementation & optimization, market research, business development and people management.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

1. Experience launching or founding member of a business or university club/society.

2. Structured thought process and a strong analytical ability. You are able to drown the noise, spot opportunities and use facts/data to clearly communicate your ideas.

3. Leadership and project management. You have led a personal or university related project from ideation to completion and played an instrumental role in it.

4. Track record of being innovative, agile and disrupting the status quo. You always look for new ways to improve your own or others quality of life either through leveraging technology or process improvement.

Preferably to start on September/October 2026.
