A global professional services firm is seeking an Experienced Manager for its Strategy and Transactions team in Kuching, Malaysia. This role involves leading assignments, conducting financial analyses, and mentoring junior members. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in corporate finance, strong analytical skills, and relevant professional qualifications. Our Strategy and Transaction (SAT) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns. As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within SaT include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Valuation and Business Modelling, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services and Transaction Support.
We are seeking to build on recent successes and continue to grow the origination and execution capacity of the team through the recruitment of a SaT professional at the Experienced Manager level.
Leveraging an extensive global network, our SaT team provides sector-focused advice to navigate complexity by helping them to reimagine their eco-systems, reshape their portfolios and reinvent themselves for a better future. As part of this team you may also advise C‑suite executives and boards on evaluating strategic alternatives in the context of transactions.

As a Manager, you will lead and manage a group of team members in delivering strategy and transactions assignments. You will take an active role in business development activities including involvement in the preparation of proposals and presentation to prospective clients.
