Job summary

The Local Strategic Buyer role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies for locally managed categories, performing market and risk analyses, and negotiating advantageous supplier contracts.

You will collaborate with SRM and other internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for local categories (NiM level).
• Ability to perform supplier market and category analysis, and assess cost impacts (TCO).
• Proven track record in negotiations and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement strategies for locally managed categories using standard procurement tools and policies.
• Conduct supplier market analysis, category analysis, and risk analysis; map sourcing processes and identify improvements.
• Lead negotiations to secure best TCO contracts and favorable supplier agreements for NiM categories.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé policies, standards and supplier code across procurement activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align category plans with budgets and price planning processes.
• Support innovation, renovation and cost-improvement initiatives from suppliers within Nestlé processes.
