Job summary

TIME dotCom Berhad in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Network & Indirect Procurement Category Manager to lead end-to-end category strategies for network infrastructure, indirect services and corporate procurement.

The role requires 8–12 years in strategic procurement within telecom/tech, strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and experience with vendor governance and SAP systems. It offers a competitive package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering or similar field preferred.
Minimum 8–12 years of progressive experience in strategic procurement, category management, or sourcing within telecom, technology, or enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Formulate, implement, and review multi-year category strategies for Network Infrastructure and Indirect Portfolios.
Lead high-impact RFPs across civil works, fibre rollout, network equipment lifecycle services, and related services.
Ensure sourcing compliance and alignment to policies and processes.
Drive negotiations covering price, SLA, risk and long-term value.
Oversee vendor evaluation, scoring and business case preparation.
Structure MSAs for network install and maintenance activities.
Manage procurement for network equipment, data centre facilities, and field operations.
Negotiate retainers and services for legal, consulting, marketing, and facilities.
Lead stakeholder engagement across Legal, Finance, HR, Marketing, Real Estate.
Drive cost modelling, benchmarking, and TCO improvements across categories.
